Day 22 - A Mix of things

Hello and welcome to day 22 of my series 25 Days of Christmas Inspiration. As I am winding down, I am sharing another card that I will be mailing out as a one of my Christmas cards this year.

To create this card I used a mix of several companies. I started with a top folding card base. To make the background, I used the Christmas Stars stencil by A Colorful Life Designs and some Peacock Feathers distress ink.  The ornament die cutis by Memory Box that I have had for several years. I stamped the image from the O Holy Night set by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps and then blended Peacock Feather distress ink over it to match the background. The greeting "A Savior is Born" is from the set Tiny Words Christmas by Simon Says Stamp. the "Rejoicing in Christ" greeting is by Stampin Up.

25 Days of Christmas Inspiration Day 5 - Photo Inspiration

Welcome to Day 5 of my series 25 days of Christmas Inspiration.

Today's post is pretty late because I incorporated the new challenge at Addicted to Stamps & More into it which is photo inspiration. I just used the colors in the photo instead of the flowers so I could make a card for my series.

To create this card I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel cut down with a stitched die. The stamp set is a new one by Stampin Up, Snow is Glistening. Using the MISTI so I could overstamp, I inked up the snow tree in the three colors of the inspiration photo and then stamped the joy in the center. for the snowfall I used some Nuvo glitter paste along with a diecut by My Favorite things to make my own stencil.

It's a Man's World

Happy Saturday!
It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to CAS and it's all about your man.
May he be big or small or furry we want you to make a masculine card. Our sponsor this week is Happy Little Stampers with a gift certificate to their store.

To make my card I started with a white top folding card base, Distress Oxide inks, some post-it tape for masking and the Rooted in Nature stamp set by Stampin Up.
I started by masking off a vertical section on my card base and by using the blending tool I blended Twisted Citron, Carved Pumpkin and Squeezed Lemonade over the space I masked off. Next I stamped the tall pine using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink along with the greeting for an easy CAS masculine card.

Abstract Impressions

It's time for our monthly CAS challenge at Happy Little Stampers, wow August already where did July go?
This month our challenge is to use die cuts, easy peasy right?

To create my card I started with a top folding white card base and a white panel cut down with a stitched die. I used a new Stampin Up set Abstract Impressions for the pattern behind my butterfly and then the coordinating die for the butterfly.
This one uses two of my favorites, butterflies and the color combo of teal and orange

Framed

Happy Sunday!
It's time for a new challenge at AAA Cards our sponsor is STAMPlorations with a $15 gift certificate to their shop.

To create my card I used a new set Healing Hugs by Stampin Up that is unique. the stamp itself is very flat with no grooves or anything for the image and these flowers are the result.
I started with a top folding white card base and a white frame. I stamped the rose images and cut them out using the ScanNCut I tucked the frame in behind them and added some sequins to finish the card.

It's time for another challenge at Addicted to CAS and our sponsor is Happy Little Stampers with a gift certificate. Bobby is our host and she chose the code word

I have to admit, I do not like rain at all and we get our fair share. I do however love this Beautiful You stamp by Stampin Up. To create my card I started with a white top folding card base , a piece of patterned paper and a piece of watercolor paper cut down with a stitched die. I used Brutus Monroe Raven ink to stamp the image and then used Daniel Smith watercolors to color it.
