Poppy Prayers

Today I am up on the Picket Fence Studios blog with this card featuring the Poppy Blossom stamp set.
It's our birthday month and we have been having guest designers everyday and giveaways. Nicole and Matt are so generous they have allowed each of the DT to give away a $100 gift Certificate and I am running mine on Instagram (@cealp) so be sure to hop over and find out how to enter for a chance to win.
I also have a discount code for you follow this link --> PFS20 (case sensitive)

To make this card I started with a top folding white card base and a white panel cut down a quarter of an inch smaller.  I stamped the poppy image in our Black Hybrid ink and colored it using Copic markers, after I finished coloring it I used the new Floral Damask stencil, some Gina K  (Sea Glass) ink and the Life Changing Blender Brushes to create the background.
To finish the card I placed the focal panel back in the Misti and over stamped it to make it darker and added the greeting which is from the Peach and Piper set.

You have until Sunday May 19th 11:59 EST to leave comments here and on instagram, winner will be notified on my blog and Instagram  afterwards. Be sure to check back tomorrow for another post and more chances to win.

Birthday Flower

Hi there and thanks for stopping by!

I am hopping on real quick to share this card for the CAS challenge at Splitcoaststampers. The challenge is to make a card using the flower of your birth month, well my birthday is this month and the flower is a daffodil which happens to also be one of my favorite spring flowers.

To create this card I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel cut down a quarter of an inch smaller. I  stamped the daffodil from the Spring Blossoms set, colored it using Copic markers and then masked it off so I could create the background.
To create the background, I used the Mid Century Carnival stencil by A Colorful Life, the Life Changing Blending Brushes by Picket Fence Studios and Blue Raspberry ink by Gina K. I also blended ink on the card base itself around the outer edges.
To finish the card I stamped the greeting from the Scripty Thoughts set with Versamark ink on a black strip of card stock and then embossed in white and added it to the card front.

You Make My Heart Smile

Hello and thanks for stopping by!
I am still guesting for Gina K Designs,  I tell ya this February release is amazing. I love each and every set. The set I am using today is Watercolor Flowers and it is gorgeous!

I am using the current sketch from CAS(E) This Sketch

To create my card I started with a top folding white heavy base weight card base and a panel of watercolor paper. I used one of the floral images and inked it up with different colors of ink and then spritzed it with water before stamping it. The small teal flowers are from the original wreath builder set.

Inspiring Poppies

Hello and thanks for stopping by!
Today's card is for day 6 of the 30 day coloring challenge at The Daily Marker, which is Kathy Racoosin's blog.

To create my card I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel cut down a quarter of an inch smaller. I stamped the poppies using the Amalgam ink by Gina K. I love this ink because it can be used with Copics, Pencils or Watercolors.  After I colored the image using Copic markers I used a stencil and some Sea Glass ink by Gina to add a subtle background behind the flowers. Then finished the card by adding the greeting

I am entering this card in this weeks challenge at CASology
