Joy Clair New Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Joy Clair new release Blog Hop. You should have came here by way of Jenny's blog but if not you will want to go back and start at the beginning so you don't miss anything and be sure to leave comments because there is a prize involved. For my sample I used the You Got This set and created a galaxy background to go with the greeting I chose because to me there is nothing more calming that a clear night sky where you can count the stars.

To create my card I started with a white top folding card base, a turquoise panel as a mat and then a bristol panel to create my background. 

To create the galaxy background I used Distress Oxide inks in Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade, Peacock Feathers and Wilted Violet and randomly sponged them across the panel, next I used Hickory Smoke and Black Soot to cover them. To give it more of a galaxy appearance I splattered the panel with water and then dried it using a heat gun. Next I stamped the greeting in Versamark ink and embossed it in white. To finish the card I added some white acrylic paint splatters.

To make my card I started with a top folding kraft cad base and a piece of hot press watercolor paper cut down with a stitched die. I stamped the greeting Kisses the Shoreline using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink which I love how crisp it stamps. Next I stamped the Shell Border using Versafine Clair Acorn and the watercolored it using Daniel Smith watercolors.

It's time for our June CAS challenge at Happy Little Stampers

To create my card I started with a white top folding card base and a panel of Bristol smooth cut down with a stitched die. I find that the distress oxide inks blend really well on bristol. 

I stamped the dandelion image from the Dandelion Wishes set in Versamark ink and embossed it in white then blended some Peacock Feather distress ink over it. 

To finish the card I spritzed the card with water and added a greeting from the Smile! set

Tic Tac Toe

It's time for a new challenge at AAA Cards and our sponsor is STAMPlorations with a $15 gift certificate.  We have a fun challenge for you this time, I always love the tic tac toe boards.

To create my card I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel cut down with a stitched die. I stamped the rose image from the Painted Rose set by Concord & 9th in Versamark ink and embossed it in gold embossing powder and colored it with Daniel Smith watercolors. Next I stamped the little dots from the Brushed Blossom set (also by C9) using Golden Glitz Delicata ink. and to finish the card I added the greeting from the Flower Turnabout set also by Concord & 9th. 

You should have been able to tell that I went straight down the left side of the card.

To create my cad I started with a white top folding card base, a gold butterfly diet and the Bitty Burst turnabout stamp set by Concord & 9th. This card was super quick and easy to create. I placed the Bitty Burst stamp set in the Mini Misti and stamped it only once using Delicata golden glitz ink, the greeting was stamped using Versafine Clair Nocturne. I used a Stampin Up butterfly die and cut it out using gold foil and then popped it up in the center of the dots to finish the card. 

I am also entering this one in the challenge at CASology 

Because butterflies are active right?
