Sweet 'n Sassy August Release Bloghop

Hello and welcome to the Sweet 'n Sassy August release hop! 

Today I am using the Back to School set for my samples. 

To create the first card I started with a top folding white card base, a yellow panel for a mat and a white panel for the images. I stamped the stars and colored them using a Copic marker and I also used a blue Copic marker over the entire panel. After I got it covered I used a piece of a terry cloth and some Copic blending solution, I simply put some blending solution on the cloth and dabbed it over the panel that I had colored blue, this gave me the texture you see. Next I stamped the bus on a seperate piece of paper and colored it also using Copic markers then fussy cut it out and popped it up on the front. the sentiment is embossed in white on a strip of Black Onyx cut down with the Cut-Align.

The second card also uses the Back to School set. This time I used a gray top folding card base, a red panel for a mat and a white panel for the images. I randomly stamped the bell over the panel and then stamped the schoolhouse from the set on a seperate piece of paper and colored it using Copic markers and fussy cut it out and popped it up in the center of the panel I couldn't decide on a greeting but I may add one late when I send out the card.

Addicted to CAS

Happy Saturday! 

It's time for a new Addicted to CAS challenge this week our code word is School.

Since I don't have any children in school this was a hard challenge for me. I had to search my stash for some stamps and I found two that fit the bill. the pencils are from Avocado Arts and the greeting is from Precious Remembrance Shop. I think the two paired pretty nicely, don't ya think?

Loves Rubberstamps #14 ~ School Days

I have been away at the hospital with my daughter and grand daughter, her surgery went well but she has some recovering to do so please continue to pray.

 For my card I used Rhubarb Back To School digital stamp. You can now get this image along with another and 9 sentiments in a clear stamp.   I colored my image using Copic markers.The chevron pattern is actually a clear set that was released today also, Grunge Borders.
