Addicted to Stamps & More 488 -Birthday

Today starts a new challenge over at Addicted to Stamps and More.
For this fortnite we are wanting to see birthday cards. You can never have too many birthday cards in your stash.

To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base, a black panel and a white panel for the stamping.
I stamped the Flower Bunch Background and colored it using OLO and Copic markers. The greeting is from the Everyday Greetings 2 set. I embossed it in white on a black piece of cardstock and then fussy cut it out.

Perk Up

Today's card uses Brewed With Love one of the newest sets from Dare 2B Artzy. I don't drink coffee but I do love me some hot cocoa.

To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base, a kraft panel and a white panel.
I randomly stamped the flower and bean image to cover the entire kraft panel.  I stamped the cup, flower and piece of tape on the white panel, colored them with Altenew markers and cut them out with the coordinating dies.
Next I used the Rectangle Framelits to make a frame (you may see the inside piece on another card).  I added the flower and tape to the cup and then colored around the edges so it blended into the cup and then added the cup inside the frame.
To finish the card I added the steam and the sentiment.

March Stay Crafty With Hero Arts

I am back with another card for our March challenge of Mr. Postman over on A Blog Named Hero. Our challenge is simple, all you have to do is make a card and actually mail it. Of course there is no way for us to tell if you actually mailed it, just using the honor system.

For a chance to win a $50 gift card to the Hero Arts shop upload your project over on the Hero Arts blog and if you upload to Instagram be sure to use hashtags #staycraftychallenge and #heroarts so we can find it.

To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a background panel I have had in my stash for years. I stamped the floral images from the Cosmos and Lavender set on a seperate piece of cardstock, colored them using Copic markers then cut them out with the coordinating die. I actually did a little more fussy cutting to get closer to the edge and cut away some of the white so the background would show through.
To finish the card I added a greeting from the same set and die cut it three times for dimension.

This card is going out this morning to a dear friend who got some not so good news the other day.

Addicted to CAS 278- Stencil

It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to CAS. Our hostess is Sue and she chose the code word...

I love using stencils, they are one of the most versatile craft supplies and not very costly either so they are a win, win.
March is my birthday month so I decided to make a card using the March flower.
To make my card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel.
I stamped the daffodil from the Spring Blossoms set and colored it with OLO markers. I used the Delightfully Delicate stencil to create a background.
I finished the card by stamping a sentiment from the Let's Celebrate set along the bottom.

Inlaid Butterflies

I am up on the CutCardStock blog today with my last post as a design team member.  It is time for me to move on from this team. You will still see me use their cardstock as I have a lot to go through.
The two cards I am sharing today I made at C9's Winter Retreat. Unless you attended their Winter Retreat virtual event you will not be able to purchase these but they have lots of fun other inlaid dies to choose from.
and if you love to paper piece you will love these dies.

I cut out several of them in different and then paper pieced the colors back in the negative spaces for the top one and have to share a tip. When you cut several of them out in different colors be sure to keep the colors seperate so it will be easier to find the pieces you need.
The second card below is for my little niece who turns three in April and loves butterflies, pink and purple.
