Rediscover Your Supplies July Edition

Todays card is for the Rediscover Your Supplies hop over on Instagram.  The premise of this hop is to find hidden treasures in your stash instead of buying new supplies. Each month there is a different theme and this months theme is Sumer Fun. What is more fun that sitting on a beach reading good book?
To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel. The stamp set I used is By The Sea one of my favorites by Creative Worship Stamps.
I stamped the scene on a separate piece of paper then colored and fussy cut out the chair. I stamped the umbrella on patterned paper and fussy cut it out. I ink blended the sand and sea and added some details to both of them using a white gel pen and a brown fine tip marker.
The clouds were created using the Cloudy Day Edge ini Stencil Mask. To finish the card, I colored the pole of the umbrella and adhered the chair and umbrella over the stamped image.

Seas The Day

Seas the day is exactly what we are doing. We are currently on an Alaskan cruise so I just had to make a card using one of the newest sets by Dare 2B Artzy, Set Sail. All my post are scheduled until we return and hopefully they are posting.

To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a panel of Powder cardstock. I created a background paper by randomly stamping the anchor on the powder panel. I stamped the sailboat, colored it using OLO markers and cut it out with the coordinating die. I stamped the greeting and stacked it for dimension.
