ProCRAFTinators Club August Edition


Procraftination is my middle name, thus why this post is late posting on my blog. This one is for the ProCRAFTinators Club Instagram hop. this is where a group of makers who are also procraftinators  dust off those monthly kits, online classes, virtual retreats and camp boxes that are untouched and we want to make all the things just not at the time the class ect is going on.  We hop on the 2nd monday of each month.
My card comes from the supplies for Concord & 9ths summer camp. This class was taught by Cathy Z. I love this die and will be using it again for sure.

Addicted to CAS 314 - Water

Today starts a new challenge at Addicted to CAS. Melanie is our host and she chose the code word...


To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel for the image.  I stamped the lighthouse, colored it using OLO mares and then cut it out with the coordinating die. I created a background on the card base by ink blending some light brown ink for the and and blue ink for the water.  To finish the card I added the birthday sentiment. All products are by the Rabbit Hole Designs.

Dare 2 B Artzy New Release


It's not July anymore but we can make Christmas cards at any time during the year. Dare 2B Artzy just released some of the cutest Christmas sets.
the set  used for my card is Hide the Cookies! it has the cutest santa and cookies. It also has matching patterned paper. 
To make this card I used the Center Step die with red cardstock. I used  Wheat cardstock and ink to create a tone on tone background for santa. The cookies were cut out of the patterned paper and adhered to the front. 
the sanda was stamped, colored using OLO markers and cut out, I also cut him out twice more to give him dimension. To finish the card, I stamped the greeting in red to match the card base.

Celebrating Spellbinders August Edition


Today's card is for the Celebrating Spellbinders. This is an Instagram hop where a group of makers get together on the first Wednesday of the month and share their love of all things Spellbinders. 
My card uses the Petal Burst Layering Stencil along with the Happy Birthday Die and of course done in purples, I used distress inks. To give it a little bling I added the center of the lowers using a metallic gold pen.

Bi is for Birhday



Today starts a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps & More. It's our birthday challenge and a chance to add more birthday cards to your stash. 
My card is for a little fellow who will be turning one soon.


To make this  card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base. I stamped, colored and cut out the goose from the Silly Goose set by Taylored Expressions. I Used the No. 1 Fancy die set from Hero Arts to cut the number one out of patterned paper and the word one out of yellow cardstock.

S is For...



Today starts a new game at AAA Cards Challenge. Gae 320 is an alphabet game, S is for...

Because of being in full holiday card making mode ( I just finished making a Christmas card a day during the month of July) I decided that S is for Snow/Snowman.
To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel cut to the same size. I created a little background in the right bottom corner and then stamped, colored, and cut out this cute snowman by Dare 2B Artzy and placed him in it. To finish the card, I added a greeting.

Day 31 -That's a Wrap


Today is the last day of the Christmas in July Hop over on Instagram and because of this I have 31 Christmas cards added to my stash.
To make today's card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a grey panel cut to the same size.  I ran the gray panel through the die cutting machine using the Frosty Texture die by Waffle Flower Crafts. 
The snowman, which is today's theme was created by using the Snowman & Friends die by Waffle Flower. I used some patterned paper by Lawn Fawn for the scarf, gloves and hat. To finish the card, I added some rosy cheeks and the sentiment from theHoliday Cheer set by Waffle Flower.

Christmas in July - Day 30





It's day 30 of the Christmas in July hop over on Instagram and today's theme is Stripes. 
To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel cutting  1/4 inch off of the sides. I stamped the Bold Background Stripes in Honeycomb ink. I cut the Poinsettia from Erin Lee Creative out of white cardstock and ink blended several reds to achieve this color. I started with Pimento and then added Poppy, Brickyard and finished with Plumberry. For the leaves I used Basil and the berries are Honeycomb. All from Concord & 9th.   
The greeting is also from a set by Kristina Werner and C9, Merry Trees.

Christmas In July - Day 29

Today's theme for the Christmas in July hop over on Instagram is Embossing dry or heat. I used both. 
I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel cutting 1/4 off the sides. I created a blended background and then ran the panel through the die cutting machine with a 3D embossing folder. I used some metallic pens and the debossed side of the panel to highlight the ornaments. I added a heat embossed sentiment to the front to finish the card.

Christmas in July - Day 28


Today's theme for the Christmas in July Instagram hop is Starry Night.
To create this card, I started with a white top folding white A2 card card base and a white panel cut to the same size. I added some post it notes on the bottom of the panel for the snow and then  I created a snowy/starry background by inking blending some blue inks from Concord & 9th I used Midnight, Capri, Blueberry and Bluebell.  For the snow/stars I used acrylic paint. I stamped colored and cut out the snowman from the Frosty Hello set by Dare 2B Artzy and placed him on the snow. To finish the card I added the sentiment.
