Simply Christmas

Welcome to day 30 of my Christmas series, we made it y'all. It has been a hard Christmas this year as we will have an empty chair at the table.
My last card of my series, (Although you may still Christmas cards because I love making them) is a simple one wishing everyone  joyous holiday.

To make this card I started with a white top folding card base. I stamped the dove from the Winter Birds set on another sheet of white cardstock, colored it and cut it out with the coordinating dies. I stamped the olive branch directly on the card front and then popped the dove on top so it would look as if he is carrying the branch.

Merry & Bright

Happy Saturday and welcome to Day 29 of my Christmas series.

Today's card is brought to you by Dare 2B Artzy.
To make this card, I started with a white side folding card base and a panel of design paper.
I stamped the ornaments on a seperate piece of white card stock, colored them using OLO markers and then cut them out with the coordinating dies.

I embossed the gold "cord" directly on the design paper and then popped up the ornaments.

Beyond The Blue 76 - Snowflakes

A new challenge is up at Beyond the Blue challenges and its a easy peasy one.

This card has triple duty. It's also for Day 28 of my Christmas series

The last duty it has is for the Sweet 'n Sassy Instagram hop. We are showcasing dies because from today through the 23rd our dies are buy 2 get one free.

To make this card I started with a top folding white card base and a white panel.
I created a background using the Snowstorm stencil and then die cut the snowflakes out of white glitter cardstock and gold cardstock. Where is the white glitter snowflake you ask? I ink blended some Picked Raspberry over it and made it pink.
To finish the card I added a greeting from the Sparkle & Shine set that says "May your holidays sparkle and shine."

Merry Rainbow

Welcome to Day 22 of my Christmas series.
I am going to try really hard to finish his up before Christmas gets here.

To make today's card I started with a top folding white card base and a couple of white panels.
I stamped the triangular snowflake tree with embossing ink and embossed it with white powder. Next I ink blended a rainbow of colors over the tree, cut it out with the coordinating die and popped it up on the panel that I dry embossed with a cover die by Concord & 9th.
To finish the card I cut the Merry and the star out of gold foil and added them to the tree.

Stay Crafty With Hero Arts

The December Stay Crafty challenge is up on the Hero Arts blog.
This month we are shaking it up and want to see shaker cards.

This one is also for Day 21 of my Christmas Series.

To make this card I started with a top folding white card base, a white panel for blending and a white panel for the cover die.  I created the night sky by ink blending Lemon Drop, Creamsicle, Taffy, Blue Hawaii and Purple galaxy.
For the shaker pocket, I repurposed the acetate from a stamp set. This makes it a full shaker and it is also flat for mailing. I added some sequins and snowflakes that came with the November MMH kit.

Peace

It's time for our monthly stencil challenge at Happy Little stampers
Our stencil challenge is always Anything Goes, so I hope you will play along.

This one is also for day 20 of my Christmas series. This series has taken so long this year, it's been hard, grief is hard. I hope you will hang in there with me.

It was super easy to make this card. I started with a white card base and stenciled directly on it using a rainbow of color. I used a hot foil die for the greeting. All products are linked below.

Plaid Holidays

I am up on the My Sweet Petunia aka Misti blog today sharing these two cards using some Concord & 9th products.

This is also for day 15 of my Christmas Series.

To make my cards I started with white top folding card bases cut to A2 size. For the top card I used a kraft panel but used the same colors as I did  in the card below. You can see how different they look just with different colored bases.
To create the background on the first card, I placed my panel of kraft cardstock and the Turnabout stamp in the Teal Misti 2.0 and stamped/turned 4 times in the following colors, Sea Glass, Grapefruit, Stardust and Sprout. I added some gold lines and white lines using the Mis-T ruler.

For the second card after I created the background the same way in the same colors but on a white panel instead of kraft. I used the dies from the All the Merries to cut the tree, star and ornaments out of some glitter paper.

Small and Few

Happy Sunday!
I know it's been a while since I posted so my Christmas series is going to take a little longer than 30 days to share.
Today's card is for the challenge that started today at AAA Cards and  also for day 14 of my Christmas series.

To make this card I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel. I stamped the gingerbread houses from the Oct 2017 My Monthly Hero kit, colored them with OLO markers and fuzzy cut them out.
To finish the card, I added a small blended background, popped the gingerbread houses up then added a sentiment from the same kit.

Joy to the World

Happy Friyay!
There is a new challenge up at Beyond the Blue. We are wanting to see lots of Gold.
I love using Gold on my holiday cards.

This card is also for Day 11 of my Christmas series

To make this card I started with a top  folding white card base and a kraft panel. I created the background by using the Picnic Plaid Turnabout stamp and turning it in 4 colors. To add some interest I added some dashed lines with a white gel pen and some solid lines with a gold pen.
To finished the card I added the Joy and the sentiment are from a retired C9 set but still a favorite of mine, I linked below to a set that has the Joy die n it.
