Rainbow Snowflakes

Welcome to day 7 of my holiday series, 25 Days of Christmas Inspiration.
Todays card is brought to you by Penny Black and Unity.

My card today is also for the new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More

To create this card I started with a white top folding card base and a toner panel by Unity Stamp Co.  I love this little snowman by Penny Black and doesn't he look the cutest with all those rainbow snowflakes, to make those I used some rainbow foil so of course I had t color him a rainbow scarf.

Christmas Kindness

I have been out of the country and just realized my posts that I had scheduled, never posted.

It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps & More. For the next couple weeks we want to see some Christmas creations.

To create this card I stamped the image, colored it using Copic markers and then added it to a side folding white card base.
The stamp set is by Penny Black that I picked up at a LSS

Joy

Hello and welcome to day 17 of my series 25 Days of Christmas Inspiration. I am finally close to getting back on track from this snowstorm we had with all the power loss and stuff. Hopefully soon you will see my series post first thing in the morning instead of near midnight.

Today's card uses another amazing set Wood Backgrounds by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. I just love this tree ring but this set also has another woodgrain background as well.
It is also our Stamp of the Month so with a $75 purchase the month of December you will receive this set free and it is such a versatile set.

This card was super simple to make, I stamped the tree ring image on a piece of white yardstick using Gina K ink and the fussy cut it out.  I used another set In Stitches Alpha also by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps for the word Joy. For the background I used some Nuvo glitter paste and a holly stencil by Penny Black

(This set sold out super fast but there are more on the way and you can pre order)

Kindness

I am still working on my Hope You Can Cling To cards, I have a couple left to do but thought I'd share this one with you. I used a Penny Black stamp and colored it up with Copic markers. You still have until November 7th to play along and a chance to win some great prizes.

Peerless Watercolors

Finally made it to my studio to make a card for a couple challenges that are ending soon.  A while back I bought some Peerless Watercolors and never got a chance to play with them. The current challenge at CASual Fridays encouraged me to get them out, and I have to say they are so fun and amazing.
To make this card, I started with a white A2 base. I cut a strip of watercolor paper and then diecut the poppies from Penny Black, also out of watercolor paper.  Next was the fun part painting the poppies and my strip of paper. I used the colors in the current challenge at The Challenge. I promise there is yellow at the bottom of my teal strip :)

I am entering this one in these challenges

Stamp-A-Faire 2014: Mock Mosaics

This one is for Lizzie's second challenge of Mock Mosaics. I colored my background stamp with Memento markers and then spritzed it with water, after stamping it on my panel I took a stencil and covered then image and painted a thin layer of gesso over it. To define the tiles more I went around the edge of each with the fine tip of the marker

Cardstock: Canyon Clay (Papertrey Ink)
Stamp: Penny Black
Sentiment: Penny Black
Block stencil
Gesso
memento markers

Stamp-A-Faire 2014: Ancient Rome

Another one for Papertrey Ink's Stamp-A-Faire 2014
This one is for Lizzie's challenge Faux Fresco. I have never done a technique anything like this before and I have to admit it was kinda intimidating because it looked so complicated but it wasn't at all and was fun. You start by covering your card stock with a thin layer of embossing paste and after it dries stamping your image on top of it, next you watercolor your image and when you get done it looks like a painted piece of plaster.

Supply List:
Cardstock: Blueberrry Sky (Papertrey Ink)
Stamp: Penny Black
Embossing paste
Watercolors
