CASE Me A Christmas Card

My fiend Michelle Lupton invited me to participate in her christmas card seri this year, what an honor! 

How this works is I choose one of her cards and CASE it into a Christmas card. In case you don't know what CASE means, it means copy and share everything. You will always want to make it your own though by changing it up just a little. I my card I used a different stamp and sentiment with a thinner sentiment strip.
Here is the card I chose to case. 

For my card I started with a white top folding card base. Michelle used a stencil for her card, I used a stamp. I also used blue because Michele loves blue and is on the search for the perfect Michelle blue. 

To ink up the stamp I used Suede Shoes by Catherine Pooler and because I didn't have matching cardstock I made my own with the ink. 

I am so excited and thankful to join Michelle because I love Christmas and Michelle so it's a win, win.

Welcome to Day 8 of my valentines series, 10 days of Valentines Inspiration.  we are almost there but I have a couple other post to make before my next valentine post. 

Today's card is brought to you by Colorado craft Co. 

To create this card I started with a top folding card base and a white panel. I stamped the heart from the Vortex of Hearts stamp by Picket Fence Studios in embossing ink and embossed it with white powder. Next I used some picked raspberry ink to blend the background. 

I stamped the mice from the Ever Thine set by Colorado Craft Company, colored them and cut them out with the Coordinating dies.  

To finish the card I added a sentiment from the same set.

Addicted to Stamps & More

I have rejoined the Addicted to Stamps and More design team and the second challenge of the year is up. 

We are doing things a little different, there will be a new challenge bi weekly instead of weekly and this gives you more time to play along.

To create my card I started with a white top folding card base, and a white panel for the image.

I used the Big & Bold-Slimline Poinsettias even though my card isn't a slimline. I colored them using alcohol markers and added a greeting from that same set.

Warm Winter Wishes

Hello and thanks for stopping by! 

It's time to start our challenges for 2021 at Addicted to CAS. 

our first of the new year is to emboss, it can be heat or dry embossing.  

I remember the magic of heat embossing being the thing that got me hooked on cardmaking many years ago.

To create this card, I started with a top folding card base and the Big and Bold Warm Wishes Snowflake  set by Colorado Craft Company.

I used the Wow embossing powder in Metallic Brass.

I just love this lovely legs stamp, Bethlehem's Light. it tells the true story of baby Jesus born in a manger. God left his thrown in heaven and came down to earth to be born in a dirty stable, only to later die for the sins of the world. What a story...true story!
