Foiling Experiment

I am up on the Erin Lee Creative blog today sharing this card that resulted from an experiment.
To create this card I started with a panel of glossy cardstock and the Sparkling Palms stencil by Erin Lee Creative.  I wanted to see if the foil that you use for the Gemini Foil Press would work with the Minc machine.
Here's my experiment. I laid the Sparkling Palms stencil on the glossy cardstock and instead of transfer gel I used some Liquitex Gel Matte medium and let it dry overnight.
Instead of the deco foil that you normally use with the Minc, I used the heat transfer foil in Rose Gold and placed it on top of the panel with the gel and then placed it in a copy paper sandwich.
The copy paper wrinkled and it gave me this result which I love.
To finish the card I blended a little Tattered Rose distress ink over the foiled panel to tone down the white. To finish the card, I cut out the the sentiment strip and blended some Tattered Rose on it as well then embossed the sentiment on it with a rose gold powder by Wow Embossing.
