Coffee and Christmas

Hello and welcome to day 10 of my series, 12 Days of Christmas Inspiration.Todays cards are brought to you by Erin Lee Creative.  Erin released a new kit and we are having a blog hop to feature it and to give you some inspiration. 

Because of this bloghop falling within my holiday series I wanted to show how it could be used for Christmas card making. So to do that I created two cards for you one uses the kit and one uses the add on dies. 

The first card above uses one of the add on dies, Cup Heart Die. I cut it out using Bristol cardstock and then stamped the flower from the Winter Florals stamp set and colored them both with the Daniel Smith watercolors. For the background I used the Coffee Rings stencil and some brown ink by Hero Arts. 

My second card uses the large 6x8 stamp in the kit.  She is all ready to tackle the shopping with her hair up in a messy bun and her ugly christmas sweater on, but first coffee right?

To create this card I started with a white card base and a white panel cut the same size as the base. I stamped the image and colored it with Copic markers and then stamped it again on some patterned Christmas paper and fussy cut her sweater out and paper pieced it on. The sentiment is from that same stamp set.
