For my two samples I used one set and made two totally different cards.
I started with white top folding card bases. For the top card I stamped the floral image from the Encouraging Peonies set on some bristol cardstock and watercolored it using Atelier ink refills. To finish it I added the sympathy greeting from the same set and adhered the panel to the card base.
For my sample below, I randomly stamped the leaves from the Encouraging Peonies set on bristol cardstock and also colored them using Atelier ink refills. after I finished watercoloring them I adhered that panel to a black panel and then adhered it to the card base. To finish the card I added an embossed greeting from the Incredibly Blessed set.
Your next stop is the talented Diane. Remember to leave comments on all the participating blogs for a chance to win the $25 gift certificate

Beautiful cards! Pink peonies have a special place in my heart. I have memories of them growing in my grandmother's yard.
ReplyDeleteThe way you colored the leaves is gorgeous. Like real leaves changing colors. NICE
ReplyDeleteCeal your peony card is wonderful in it's CAS style, which I really like. I really like how you stretched this stamp set by using just the leaves to create the second card which has such a feel of autumn with those wonderful colours.
