A couple of my favorite challenge blogs are all about wings his week Addicted to CAS  is wings! and CAS on Sunday is flutterby so I decided to make a card using a set from There She Goes.

This card is for the  HYCCT1205 ~ Courage 

When someone is diagnosed with breast cancer there is a flurry of information, tests and procedures. One day things are normal and almost overnight your life is consumed with difficult and scary things. This calls for a big dose of COURAGE.

Remember the Cowardly Lion from the Wizard of Oz:

What makes a King out of a slave? Courage
What makes the flag on the mast to wave? Courage
What makes the elephant charge his tusk, in the misty mist or the dusky dusk?
What makes the muskrat guard his musk? Courage
What makes the sphinx the seventh wonder? Courage
What makes the dawn come up like thunder? Courage
What makes the Hottentot so hot? What puts the ‘ape’ in Apricot? What have they got that I ain’t got?

COURAGE!
You can say that again!

 The challenge:  Make a card or two to inspire strength and courage to a patient. Or, you can be inspired by someone you know who been especially courageous. It’s open to your creativity. Something with a dose of humor is great, too.

Mother Of All Blog Hops Day 2!

My first card uses the set "Let's Get Together". I love to paper piece and this a fun set to do that technique with.  I am new to the TSG stamping company and I'm loving it more and more!  Each release brings something new and exciting.  Would be nice if my crafty budget would allow for all of them.

 My second card uses the set "Scootin' By" this set is the cutest and it also has an accessory set as well. I found this cute design paper in my stash and it went perfect with the image. I colored the image with Copic markers and added some shimmer to the scooter with a Spica glitter pen. Again I added some paper piecing on her dress.

My friend Candace who has been blogging for a couple years now had an unfortunate thing happen to her. She got an email saying that her blog name "Candid Candace" was copyrighted and she could no longer use it. Along with changing the name she had to change her blog address so thus the blog hop name.
