Que Sera Sera

I am up on the Picket Fence Studios blog today with these two cards.
They both use the same stamp set, the stencil is the same but comes in both the 6x6 size and the Slimline size. And I used this gorgeous pastel paper glaze on both.

My first card is a slim line created by using the Slim Line Die Cutting System. I started with a white card base and cut yellow front and the white panel using the SLDCS. I placed the Center Flower Slim Linestencil on the white pane and then added someYellow Primrose Paper Glaze with the Mix Media Spatulas. While the paper glaze was drying, I stamped some of the flowers from the Que Sera Sera set on vellum and embossed them in white powder. I flipped them over and colored the opposite side with Copic markers. I cut the Thank You die out of yellow cardstock and backed it with vellum to match the flowers.

My second card uses the 6x6 Center Flower Stencil and I used two paper glazes in Pink Carnation and Yellow Primrose. I also used the same set Que Sera Sera but I stamped and colored the flowers on regular cardstock. I added the greeting from the Fancy Congratulations Sentiments stamp set stamped with embossing ink and embossed in gold and cut out with the Fancy Congratulations Sentiments dies

I am sharing a few of the slimline cards I created for this release. I have more so check back tomorrow.

My first sample (above) uses the Slimline Leaf Stencil one of my favorites from this release. I started with a cad base of 8 1/2 x 4 and a panel of bristol cut to the same size. I sprayed the stencil with Pixie Spray and then blended some distress ink in Crackling Campfire, Fossilized Amber, and Peeled Paint. Next I added some Infusions in A Bit Jaded, Rusty Car and Lemoncello and then spritzed with water and allowed it to dry naturally before I removed the stencil. I die cut a tag and added the sentiment from the A World of Octobers set, I also stamped the pumpkin from the same set and colored it using Copic markers and added it to the top of the tag.

My second sample (below) uses the Floral Slimline Stencil and one of the new Paper Glaze colors Jade Vine. I started with a white cad base cut to the same size as above and a bristol panel. I sprayed the stenci with Pixie Spray and laid in on the panel of Bristol and then added a layer of Jade Vine Paper Glaze over it. I removed the stencil and sprayed some Distress Oxide Spray in Citron over it and then added the fame and adhered it to the card front. The greeting is from the Neighborhood set.

My last sample (below) uses the Slimline Radial stencil along with the I Miss You word die.  I started with the same size card base and a bristol panel. Using the Life Changing Blender Brushes, I created a rainbow background on the panel. I sprayed the stencil with Pixie Spray and then added the new Artemisia Silver Paper Glaze.
I die cut the word die out of pink cardstock and vellum and adhered it to the center. To finish the card I added some Spiked Ocean Water sequins.

Thanks for stopping by today your next stop is the very talented Susie Moore. Be sure to leave comments for a chance to win the prizes and I will be back tomorrow with some more Slimline fun.
