It's release day at Picket Fence Studios and it is amazing. This month we have 5 stamps, 5 slimline stencils, 2 6x6 stencils and 3 new colors of Paper Glaze. If you love Slimline cards and Paper Glaze then you will definitely love this release.
We also have two new designers. Lisa Tilson and Larisa Hohman have joined our team and we are celebrating with a bloghop and giveaway. Since we have added two designers to the team, we are giving away two $50 gift certificates to the store. All you have to do for a chance to win is leave comments on everyone's blog. Two random winners will be chosen from all the comments from the DT blogs. You have until Sunday the 20th to leave comments and a winner will be posted Monday the 21st on the Picket Fence Studios blog.
I am sharing a few of the slimline cards I created for this release. I have more so check back tomorrow.
My first sample (above) uses the Slimline Leaf Stencil one of my favorites from this release. I started with a cad base of 8 1/2 x 4 and a panel of bristol cut to the same size. I sprayed the stencil with Pixie Spray and then blended some distress ink in Crackling Campfire, Fossilized Amber, and Peeled Paint. Next I added some Infusions in A Bit Jaded, Rusty Car and Lemoncello and then spritzed with water and allowed it to dry naturally before I removed the stencil. I die cut a tag and added the sentiment from the A World of Octobers set, I also stamped the pumpkin from the same set and colored it using Copic markers and added it to the top of the tag.
My second sample (below) uses the Floral Slimline Stencil and one of the new Paper Glaze colors Jade Vine. I started with a white cad base cut to the same size as above and a bristol panel. I sprayed the stenci with Pixie Spray and laid in on the panel of Bristol and then added a layer of Jade Vine Paper Glaze over it. I removed the stencil and sprayed some Distress Oxide Spray in Citron over it and then added the fame and adhered it to the card front. The greeting is from the Neighborhood set.
My last sample (below) uses the Slimline Radial stencil along with the I Miss You word die. I started with the same size card base and a bristol panel. Using the Life Changing Blender Brushes, I created a rainbow background on the panel. I sprayed the stencil with Pixie Spray and then added the new Artemisia Silver Paper Glaze. I die cut the word die out of pink cardstock and vellum and adhered it to the center. To finish the card I added some Spiked Ocean Water sequins.
