Today starts our  #staycrafty Monthly challenge for November with A Blog Named Hero.

Our challenge theme is Bits & Pieces to use scraps on your project. 

By playing along with us and uploading your project using at least one product by Hero Arts you will be eligible to win a $50 gift card to the shop. To do that just link your project over on the Hero Arts blog. 

To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel. I used the Hexagon Infinity dies to create the panel the trees are on. I used the Tree Pattern Cover plate to make other cards and the trees are left over from that. The sentiment is from the Holly Berries Stamp & Cut XL, heat embossed with white on a scrap of black cardstock. 

Cozy Fall

I am back with another card for the current StayCrafty challenge of Mellow Yellow. To play along with us for a chance to win a $50 gift card to the shop, upload your project using at least one Hero Arts product over on the Hero Arts blog.

To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel. I used the Fairy Tale Forest Layering Stencil, a couple acorns from the Autumn Leaves Fancy dies and the sentiment from the Pick of the Patch Stamp & Cut. 

Stay Crafty With Hero Arts - September Edition

Today starts a new StayCrafty challenge at A Blog Named Hero.  Our theme for the month of September is Chasing the Clouds Away. To create a project using clouds in some way. It can be a actual cloud or you can create them like I did. 

To create this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel for the images. I stamped the fence and the squirrel on the panel, colored them with Copic markers and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I added some foam tape to pop it up on the panel. To finish the card, I added the squirrel and butterfly and then stampd the greeting in the clouds.

Staying Crafty with Hero Arts

I am back with another card for the current challenge of Splish Splash (use water or a water technique on your project) over on A Blog Named Hero. There is still a couple more days to play along with us for a chance to win a $50 gift card to the shop. You can enter until August 31st. 

To make this card I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel. I stamped the Inverse Bubbles background stamp with Aquatic ink. I used the Autumn Leaves Fancy die and cut them out of bristol cardstock. Next I ink blended the leaves and acorn using distress inks and then spritzed them with water. 

The Thankful for you is from the Pumpkin Bunch stamp set, I embossed it and then fussy cut it out. 

Stay Crafty with Hero Arts - June Challenge

I am back with another card for our current challenge over on A Blog Named Hero. Our theme for the month of July is Saturday in the Park. Of course you always see flowers in the park, so thats what I went with. 

To make this card, I started with a white top folding card base, a panel of white cardstock cut to the same size to stamp the greeting which I embossed in gold and a panel of Arctic cardstock in which I cut down with the Pointed Arches Infinity dies. 

The flowers and butterfly are from the Special Day Butterfly Bundle.  I stamped them on a seperate piece of cardstock, colored them using Copic markers and cut them out with the coordinating die and also cut them apart so I could add them where I wanted them.

I am back with another card for the current Stay Crafty challenge of "Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You"

This challenge is simple, for a chance to win a $50 gift card to the shop

 you have to do is create a project with eyes and upload it to the Hero Arts Blog. 

To make my card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel. I Created a background by using the Color Layering Tulip Pattern stencils. I stamped the fox from the Folk Animals set on a seperate piece of cardstock, colored it and then cut it out with the coordinating die. To finish the card I added a sentiment from the Here for You bundle. 

May Stay Crafty Challenge

Today's starts our May StayCrafty challenge and theme is Can't Take My Eyes Of Of You.. which means create a project with eyes, Easy Peasy.

To play along with us for a chance to win a $50 giftcard to the shop, upload your project using this month's theme and at least one Hero Arts product to the Hero Arts blog. 

To make my card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a sheet of watercolor paper. I cut the floral panel and the bird out of watercolor paper using the Branches and Blossoms die set and the watercolored them both using Daniel Smith watercolor paints. The greeting is from the With Sympathy set. 

Opposites Attract

I am back with another card for our current challenge of Opposites Attract at A Blog Named Hero. You have until the end of the month to play along with us for a chance to win a $50 gift card to the Hero Arts shop. 

To do that all you have to do is create your project using opposites and at least one product from hero Arts then upload it to the blog. 

For the opposites theme, I used large and small and two colors opposite of each other on the color wheel.

To make my card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel. I stamped the Party fans on a seperate piece of cardstock, cut them out with the coordinating die and added them to the front of the card. I stamped the sentiment and then cut one of the party fans in half and attached to each side of the greeting.

Opposites Attract

Today starts a new Stay Crafty challenge with A Blog Named Hero. Our challenge is Opposites attract. To enter our challenge for a chance to win a $50 giftcard to the Hero Arts shop, all you have to do is create a project using the theme Opposites Attract and upload it to the Hero Arts blog. 

For my card, not only did I use small and large flowers  I put one of the smaller ones together opposite of the way I put together the others. 

March Stay Crafty With Hero Arts

I am back with another card for our March challenge of Mr. Postman over on A Blog Named Hero. Our challenge is simple, all you have to do is make a card and actually mail it. Of course there is no way for us to tell if you actually mailed it, just using the honor system. 

For a chance to win a $50 gift card to the Hero Arts shop upload your project over on the Hero Arts blog and if you upload to Instagram be sure to use hashtags #staycraftychallenge and #heroarts so we can find it. 

To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a background panel I have had in my stash for years. I stamped the floral images from the Cosmos and Lavender set on a seperate piece of cardstock, colored them using Copic markers then cut them out with the coordinating die. I actually did a little more fussy cutting to get closer to the edge and cut away some of the white so the background would show through. 

To finish the card I added a greeting from the same set and die cut it three times for dimension. 

This card is going out this morning to a dear friend who got some not so good news the other day. 

Mr Postman

Today starts our March challenge, Mr. Postman. Our challenge is to make a and then actually mail it.

My card went out to my friend who's birthday was a couple days ago.

To play along with us, make your card and upload it to the Hero Arts blog before March 31st. There is a $50 Hero Arts gift card up for grabs to a random chosen winner. 

To make my card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel. I stamped a background using the Acanthus Background stamp on half of the panel and then added a black strip of cardstock. I stamped the rainbow from the Rainbow and Clouds set on a seperate piece of cardstock, colored it using OLO markers, cut it out with the coordinating dies and the popped it up using foam tape.  To finish the card, I added a "happy birthday" greeting embossed in white on a black strip from the Let's Celebrate set.

Build Me Up Buttercup

I am back with another card for our February Staycrafty challenge with A Blog Named Hero.  Our challenge is create a floral card and today I seem to be all about poppies as my previous post uses poppies as well. 

To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel cut to the same size. I used the Golden Poppies set along with the coordinating stencils.
