Ink Blot Shop New Release Day 2

 I am back with some more samples from the latest release from Ink Blot Shop. 

I love this Christmas Ornaments Background stamp and the Layering Stencil that coordinates with it. 

I created two different styles, a clean one and a mixed media one.

For the top card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel. I stamped the Christmas Ornaments background and colored it using OLO markers in retro colors. Next I cut it at a diagonal and added it to the base. I finished the card with a strip of purple cardstock and the greeting.

For the Mixed media card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a panel of distress heavystock.  I stamped the Christmas Ornaments background on the heavystock and using the stencil, I added some gold Hero wax for the toppers. I used the layering stencil to add some white Hero paste then added some iridescent embossing powder over the paste and heat embossed it. I love the look you get from this technique that my friend BreAnn shared.

I finished tis card by adding a kraft mat and a sentiment embossed on a kraft strip of cardstock
