Blend It Up

It's April and that means it is time for a new challenge at Stay Crafty With A Blog Named Hero. 

This month we are blending it up. To play along create a project using Ink Blending for a chance to win a $50 gift card to the shop. 

To create this card I started with a white top folding card base, a white panel for the blending and a panel for the circle and tulips.

On the panel cut down a quarter of an inch smaller than the base, I ink blended Fruit Punch and Taffy reactive inks for the background. 

Next I stamped the tulips outline in Soft Granite, then ink blended them using the stencil with Purple Galaxy and Thistle reactive inks for the flowers and Key Lime Fizz and Green Apple reactive inks for the leaves and stems. I used the Coordinating die to cut them out. 

Next I cut out a white circle using the Infinity Circle dies and then popped the tulips up on the side of it.  I embossed the sentiment on black cardstock with white powder, cut it out using a strip die and popped it up using the foam tape to finish the card.
