So Grateful

It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to CAS, our hostess for this challenge is Vicky and she chose the code word...

Today is the anniversary of 911, I can't believe that it has been 20 years already. We will never forget where we were and what we were doing when the first tower was struck, nor will we forgot those who lost their lives that day. God bless America!

To create my card I started with a top folding white card base, panel of white Heavystock and a piece of watercolor paper. I created a background with a wash of Broken China distress ink. For the leaf I used Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed and Wilted Violet smooshed them on my craft sheet, spritzed with water and picked them up for the colors on the leaf.
