Hi

I am up on the My Sweet Petunia blog today sharing this card using the newest turnabout by Concord & 9th.  The turnabouts were created especially with the Mistiin mind and they are a great way to create lots of backgrounds to use for cardmaking.

To create this card I started with a white card base, the Original Misti, a turnabout jig, a piece of white cardstock for the background and a piece of Lovely Lavender  cardstock for the mat.
I placed the jig in the corner of the Misti and then placed the alignment guide that comes with the stamp set over it making sure that the x lines up. I placed the stamp on the aliment guide finding the center and then picked it up with the door of the Misti.
Next I placed the white panel on the jig in the spot marked out for it and then started stamping and turning. I used some hero arts reactive inks in some ink colors that were included in a MMH kit, Chartreuse, Thistle, Early Dawn and Morning Mist. I love these colors and hop that Hero Arts will bring them out in a full size pad.
After I was done creating the background I used the "Hi" from the Everyday Sayings dies and cut it out of the background. I adhered the background to a piece of Lovely Lavender cardstock. I added some foam tape to the die cut and then placed it back in the negative space. I used a sentiment from the Bold Butterflies stamp set to finish the card.
