Bird Is The Word

Happy June! 

Today starts a new challenge over at the Erin Lee Creative Facebook page. 

For the month of June, we want to see birds.  You can find all the rules of the challenge over on her pag but basically its just to use a bird and you must use at least one of her products on your project.  There is an album created on her page and you upload your project to it for a chance to win a $50 gift code to her store. Last month we only had 4 players so those who played along had a 25% chance to win.

To create my card I  started with a white top folding card base and a white panel. I used the Mesh stencil along with blending brushes to create the background. The bird was created by using  her new Bird Layering stencil along with the coordinating die cut To finish the card I added a sentiment from the Fall Critters set.

Also if you haven't heard before, the MISTI works great with layering stencils.
