With the last day of summer being tomorrow, I make one last summer card using these super cute sets by Erin Lee Creative.
Can you believe that it's already September but yet it seems like March lasts for a thousand years. I love Fall it is my favorite time of the year especially where I live because its so beautiful here with all the changing leaves.
To create this card I started with a white top folding card base, a white panel and some Flirty Flamingo cardstock.
I randomly stamped the palm leaves from the Tropical Plants set and colored them using a Copic marker and made my own patterned paper. Next I stamped the flamingo from the Tropical Birds set on a separate piece of paper, colored it using Copic markers and then cut it out with the Coordinating dies.
I stamped the greeting from the Tropical Plants set and cut it out with an oval die. I placed the greeting and the flamingo to the background I created and then cut out a frame. To finish the card I added some sequins and placed the frame with acetate and foam tape over it for a fun shaker card.
