To make my card I started with the Original Misti, with turquoise stickers, a scrap piece of watercolor paper and stamped the diamond image from the set Geology Rock using VersaMark ink and then embossed it in Ranger silver pearl embossing powder. Any tie I am stamping on watercolor paper I use the Misti because of the texture.
After I got the diamond embossed I cut it out using the coordinating die.
For the background I used one of the Everyday Tintables and painted the background using Daniel Smith pearlescent watercolors.
After I achieved the background I wanted then I added some stamped images from the same set, Geology Rocks on the bottom in a diagonal. To finish the card I added some foam tape to pop up the diamond.

ReplyDeleteI like how the All That Jazz matches your MISTI stickers. That's some commitment to color cohesiveness! But oh, that palette of DS pearlescent colors! *drools* I'm only minorly jealous and not at all planning on how to steal that. :D But you used it so nicely on the gem. I love how this card turned out. Thanks for sharing with us and participating in this bloghop!
