Its time for another challenge at Addicted to Stamps & More and this week we want you to make your mark using markers, paints, distress crayons anything you color with.
It is also day 16 of the 30 days of coloring challenge at The Daily Marker so you have time to play along there as well.
For my card I used a new set by Stampin Up from the new Occasions catalog, Petal Palette along with the Petals & More coordinating dies.
I started with a top folding Smoky Slate card base and a white panel cut down with a stitched die. I stamped the floral image on a separate piece of paper and colored it with Copic markers and then used the die to cut it out. I stamped the leafy branch from the same set on the panel using Smoky Slate ink and then popped the floral image over it. The greeting is from a separate set also by Stampin Up, Flourishing Phrases.
Sympathy cards are always so hard to make but you have done a beautiful job here with the soft greys and your floral colouring is stunning. So uplifting Ceal.
ReplyDeleteLove the soft grey foliage echoing the base card and the choice of the lime green and turquoise blue for the posy. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful card you made. I love the gray with the colors you chose too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a GORGEOUS card Ceal! Those grey sprig of leaves look like they were watercoloured and I love that set of stamp that look like they were doodled, I have to get it! Hugs, your ATSM teammie Gwendolyn
