Concord & 9th has easily become one of my favorite stamp companies, so I had to play along with this challenge. I love all their designs and the owners are sweethearts.
Their October release has so many awesome sets in it, especially this plaid background stamp.
To make this CAS Christmas card I started with a white top folding note card and a white panel cut down with a stitched die. I used one of my favorite older stamps Barnwood Background for the background behind the tree, I stamped it with Versamark ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder. For the tree I used the Plaid Background stamp and the Trim the Tree die. I stamped a piece of paper with the plaid stamp and then cut it out with the die. The "merry" is a die that was free with a $60 order and the "Christmas" is from the Christmas Cheer Turnabout.
I am entering this one in the challenge at

Wonderful idea using the plaid for a Christmas tree design. Fantastic way to use pattern papers or some you made up yourself.
ReplyDeletePlaid + Christmas is always good. Love the twist on it by using teal tones.
