I am up on the Sweet 'n Sassy blog today sharing this card, made with the cutest valentine set, Valentine Critters.
To make my card I started with a white card base, a white panel cut down with a stitched die and a scrap of watercolor paper for the bear. I stamped the bear in waterproof ink using the MISTI stamping tool to make sure I got a good impression since watercolor paper is textured. Next I colored it with Zig cleancolor pens and cut him out with the coordinating Valentine Critters dies (discontinued).
I added some washi tape to the front of the stitched panel and used the Creative Corners to help me line it up straight, then popped the teddy bear up using foam tape. To finish the card I added some sequins along with some tiny gold hearts.
I am entering this one in a couple watercolor challenges
and
Happy Little Stampers February Challenge
I also have a sneak peek of a gorgeous set we will be releasing tomorrow so stop back by
