My Sweet Petunia is teaming up again and this time it is with one of my most favorite stamps companies Concord & 9th. And...There is an amazing prize involved...
The entire April release valued at $129.50 plus an original MISTI
We are giving you a sneak peek of two of the sets that were designed to be used with the MISTI. You should have arrived here from Maureen's blog so if you didn't be sure to check the bottom of this post for a complete list of participants to leave a comment on their blog. You must comment on each blog in order to win and the winner will be selected by Concord & 9th on April 10th and notified.
Now on to the sneak peeks
This card uses a gorgeous set Many Mandalas and comes with an acetate alignment sheet as well.
To make my card I started with a white top folding card base a nd a panel of Coastal Cabana for the front. Using the MISTI and the alignment sheet I stamped the mandalas from the Many Mandalas set with Coastal Cabana and Tangerine Tango. After I got them all stamped I used the Many Mandalas dies to cut it out. When I seen the pretty pattern around the outside of the largest one I just had to use it as well, so I cut it out of the Coastal Cabana panel and used the inlaid die cut technique and placed the one I stamped in the negative space. This gave me that pretty design around the outside.
This card uses a fun set Triangle Turnabout. This is also a sneak peek and will be available tomorrow at 9AM MST.
To make this card I used a white side folding card base and a white panel. I made a 6x6 template and marked the center point with a pen.
This set is super fun to work with!
I lined up the Triangle Turnabout stamp in the center of the template and closed the lid on the MISTI to pick it up, next I placed my panel cut to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 on the jig and secured it down with removable adhesive. This stamp can be stamped in 1 or up to 4 colors. I choose to do 4. I stamped the first color, PeekaBoo Peach and then rotated the jig a half turn, stamped my next color, Bermuda Bay and rotated it, stamped my next color, Pool Party and rotated it and stamped my last color, Soft Sky. I forgot to take a picture but the packaging of this stamp shows you the result if it is stamped in 1 rotation or 4 rotations. I had taken pictures of each color and somehow deleted them before I uploaded.
I used the Hello from the set Say Hello and the Say Hello dies for my greeting
I am leaving today to go out of the country for a mission trip but I have some fun news coming up later this month so stay tuned.
Your're next stop is Concord & 9ths blog, be sure to leave comments on everyones post for a chance to win that amazing prize described above.
