Rediscover Yor Supplies - July Edition

This card is for a monthly hop that I participate in  over on Instagram.  This hop encourages us to create with older supplies that we haven't used in a while or even at all.  There is a theme each month and this month is Summer Fun.
To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a panel of Powder cardstock. I used the June My Monthly Kit for the elements of the card.

Clean & Simple Insta Hop - June Edition

Today's card is for the Clean and Simple hop over on instagram. this hop is where a group of us CAS card makers get together one a month and share our cards using a specific theme. June's theme was patterned paper.
To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel cut down a quarter of an inch.
I used an old My Monthly Hero kit and stamped the balloons on patterned paper, fussy cut them out and added them to the balloons I stamped directly on the panel.  I added a greeting underneath them to finish the card.

Ode to Andy

Welcome to day 6 of my little valentines series. Today's card uses products from hero Arts.

To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and the negative panel of the card I shared a couple days ago.
I inked up the Ode to Andy Warhol bold print with embossing ink and embossed it with white powder. next I added some gold Hero wax for interest. I decided that I wanted to make this a shaker card, so I used the stamp packaging to create a pocet for the sequins.

Life's A Picnic

Today I have another card using the July MMH kit.
This card is for this week's CAS challenge over on Splitcoaststampers. Did you know that they have daily challenges? There is no expiration date so you can play as long and as many times as you want.

To make this card I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel.
I used a buffalo plaid background stamp as my "blanket" and cut out the dies using white cardstock and coloring them wink ink.
Simple card to make.

Rediscovering a MMH kit

Today I am participating in a hop over on Instagram where we are rediscovering our supplies. We all as makers have lots of supplies that get buried and some of them not even seeing ink for days, year and some never seeing ink.
This My Monthly Hero kit is one of them, this kit is from July of last year and hasn't seen ink until now.
Hop over to instagram for lots of inspiration and to see if you have any of these forgotten supplies.

Addicted to CAS 240 - Rainbow Colours

Happy Saturday!
It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to CAS. Nancy is our hostess and she chose the cde word...

I love all things rainbow!
To make this card I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel. I used a die cut by from the Hero Arts My monthly Hero kit on the panel and then created a rainbow background for the backdrop.
I finished the card with a sentiment from that same kit.

My Monthly Hero Meets Addicted to Stamps & More

A new challenge is up at Addicted to Stamps and More. It's time for our birthday challenge and if you are like me you can always use some more birthday cards in your stash.

To make this card I started with a top folding white card base and a white panel and the September My Monthly Hero card kit.
I created a background by using the background stamp that comes in the kit, stamped it with embossing ink but did not using embossing powder. Next I  did a little ink blending over the embossing ink with Lemon Drop, Creamsicle and Purple Galaxy inks which resisted the embossing ink for a subtle background. I stamped the floral image from the kit with embossing ink on mustard cardstock and embossed it with white powder, colored it using colored pencils and then cut it out with the coordinating die.
I finish the card, I popped the image up and added the birthday greeting to fit the challenge.

Key To My Heart

Welcome to day 12 of my Valentines Inspiration series.
Today's card is brought to you by Hero Arts. I love Hero Arts and the My Monthly Hero kits, which is what I used to create this card.

I started with a white top folding card base, a white panel and a gold foil panel.  I used the cover plate die that is in this months kit and ran it through the die cutting machine with the white panel and then again using the gold foil.
I cut away the outside frame and the keyhole frame from the one I cut out of gold foil and placed it over the white one.  On the card base itself I ink blended some Taffy and Berry Smoothie reactive inks for the background through the keyhole.
To finish the card I added the sentiment from the Stronger Together partner set with Honey bee Stamps and a key cut out of the gold foil paper.
I stamped the sentiment "You hold the key to my heart" from the MMH kit on the inside.

St. Nick

Welcome to Day 5 of my holiday series. Today I am using product from the November My Monthly Hero kit by Hero Arts to make these cute santa tags. There are other dies to make snowmen, reindeer and elves so be on the lookout for that later.

To create these tags I started with white cardstock and used the tag infinity dies to cut my tags. Next I used the Candy Stripe stencil by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps for the background. I created the santa by using some red, ivory and black cardstock and white glitter paper. To finish the card I popped the santa up with foam tape and added twine.
