Christmas in July - Day 11

Todays theme for the Christmas in July hop is Wreaths. For my card I used a set by a company thats no longer around Crafty Meraki. The image is pretty big so I decided to make it a shaped card.  The greeting is from Pinkfresh Studio.

Christms In July - Day 6

Today's theme in the Christmas in July Instashop is another choice of Ugly Sweater or Lots of Layers.
For this card, I tried to make it resemble an Ugly Sweater. I started with a white top folding A2 card base, a white panel, patterned paper, dragonfruit cardstock and chunky glitter paper.
I cut dowe the patterned paper which looks like a pattern of an ugly sweater a quater of an inch smaller than the base. I cut the merry word die out twice, once out of dragonfruit cardstock and once out of chunky white glitter paper and added it to the card front.

Fabulous Day

Today's card is for this week's CAS challenge over on Splitcoaststampers.
To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base, a black panel and a white panel for the background. To create the background I placed the panel of white cardstock over the stencil and used a white crayon to color over it, next I ink blended a few colors over it and where the crayon was it resisted the color.
I foiled the butterflies on black cardstock using holographic foil and cut them out using the coordinating die. The greeting is from a Hero Arts strip sentiment set.

Crafty Collaboration

I am over on Instagram today with this card celebrating a collaboration between Crafty Meraki and Ink On 3.
Fleurette created this gorgeous stamp set, Shine Bright for the collaboration

To create my card I started with a white top folding card base, a black panel and a panel of Bristol.
I created the background my smooshing the Atelier ink pad on my craft mat, spritzing with water and then picking up the color with the bristol panel.
I stamped the images directly on the bristol and then watercolored them with the Atelier ink refills. To give dimension to the lanterns, I stamped them on a separate piece of bristol, water colored them and then cut out portions of them to place on top of the stamped image. Using a T-ruler I added the string holding the lanterns and then added some gold  to them by using a gold marker by Pilot.
