Today's card is for the new challenge at Beyond The Blue. We are just a group of friends who follow Lydia from UnderstandBlue, thus the name of our challenge blog.
We use Lydia's (and sometimes others) tips and techniques to come up with challenges for you to play along with.
We have new challenges for you on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month, our current challenge is embossed circles.
To make my card I started with a side folding white card base and a white panel.
I stamped the Shiplap background with kraft ink and then ink blended on top of it with the same kraft ink to mimic a table.
I Cut two circles out of white cardstock and ran one of them thru the die cutting machine with an embossing folder for the "plate" for Santa's cookies. I used some Hero Wax in gold on the embossed circle and then added it on top of the white "charger" circle. I stamped, colored and cut out the cookies and placed them on the plate.
To finish the card I added a tag so everyone would know those were Santa's cookies.
