Picket Fence Studios April Release

It's time for another fabulous release at Picket Fence Studios.

Today I am sharing three samples with  you and will share more later in the week.

The first sample uses a new Graduation insert for the Slim Line Die Cutting System.  To make this card I started with a black card base and a black panel. I cut a scalloped panel using the latest addition to the SLDCS the Scallop Frame, and then used the Graduation insert and cut out of the panel. To create the background for it I used a piece of glitter paper, some Black Pansy paper glaze mixed with the Enhancer and the Stars stencil.
I used the Dance Mode On set to stamp the greeting multiple times on the panel embossing it clear embossing powder and then once in silver powder to go with the background.

My second sample uses the From My Heart 4x4 stamp set, the Slimline Cloud Coverage stencil and the Fancy Daily Sentiments stamp set along with the Coordinating die. To make this card I started with a white card base and a white panel on which I created a background using the Slimline Cloud Coverage stencil, The Life Changing Blender Brushes and distress inks in Squeezed lemonade and Wild Honey.  Next I stamped the hands in a grey ink and then colored the hearts using alcohol markers. To finish the card I added a sentiment from the Fancy Daily Sentiments set and cut it out with the coordinating die.

My last sample for today, uses the Monarch Butterfly insert for the Slimline Die Cutting System, the Slimline Details of a Wing stencil, Snowdrop Paper Glaze, Paper Glaze Enhancer, and the Nested Rectangles SLDCS.
I started with a white card base and a panel of Bristol.  On the panel of bristol I ink blended a background using Kitsch Flamingo, Squeezed Lemonade, Wild Honey and Broken China distress inks and then placed my stencil over it. I mixed the paper glaze enhancer and the snowdrop paper glaze together and spread over it. I used the Monarch Butterfly insert to cut out of the panel. For the greeting I cut out the Happy Day that comes with the Nested Rectangles SLDCS out of holographic cardstock and added it to the front. To finish the card I added those tiny butterflies, also cut out of holographic paper that come with the Mushroom Field insert  for the SLDCS.

I hope you have enjoyed these cards and if you are on instagram be sure to join our instahop that starts at 10AM EST (my handle is @cealp) for a chance to win a $50 voucher to the shop.
