Mermaids of The Sea

I am up on the Picket Fence Studios blog today with these cards using some March release products.  If you love the ocean, then this release is for you. 

For both of my cards I used backgrounds that I created in Jenn Shurkus' distress class. 

The  top card I used Mermaid Lagoon, Salty Ocean, Peacock feathers and Wilted Violet. I die cut the mermaid using Rainbow Holographic cardstock and added it to the panel. The sentiment is from the Merpeople of the Sea stamp set.  

The second card I used Salty Ocean and Mermaid Lagoon for the background. I stamped the mermaid and fish from the Mermaids of the Sea set directly on the background.  I cut the Netting Cover Plate out of Holographic cardstock and left a few pieces of in in. To finish the card I embossed the greeting from the Mermaids of the Sea set in white on a strip of black and added it to the card front.
