It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to CAS. Jaydee is our hostess and she chose the code word Birthday.
As I had said earlier in the month, March is my birthday month and I am planning a giveaway before the month is over so stay tuned.
To create my card, I started with a white top folding card base, a white panel for the cover plate and some white cardstock for the stamping.
I used the Exotic Tulips set along with the Golden Sunset and Spring Bouquet ink bundles both by Altenew.
I love layering sets but I tell ya, I could not make it work without the Misti.
For the background I used the Butterfly Confetti fancy die by Hero Arts and added some ink to a few of them and placed back in the negative space.
The greeting is from the Birthday Simple Strips by Taylored Expressions.

Thank you!
I am delighted to be joining you as Guest Designer for this challenge Ceal. Your card is fabulous, the stamping is absolutely impeccable and I know what you mean about the assistance of a stamping platform!
ReplyDeleteThe colours are terrific too!

Oh those tulips are gorgeous aren't they Ceal! I love the way you coloured them and what a clever way to use that background die with just a few butterflies returned to their negative spaces. Vicky x
ReplyDeleteVery nice, Ceal!
ReplyDeleteCeal, your cards are always "Simply Beautiful Creations" and this one is no exception. Keeping your creations CAS at the same time as decorative is a fine line to tread and you do it wonderfully! I love the three little inked butterflies set back into the die cut background. Hugs, Fran
ReplyDeleteWonderful design and those tulips are so beautiful!
