To create my cards I used the Dazzling Dahlia set which has this gorgeous large bloom.
My cards are completely different even though I used the same set.
For the first one I used Bristol card stock and Karin markers to color the dahlia. I stamped the sentiment on a black strip of cardstock and embossed it with white embossing powder and fussy cut around it.
For the second card, I used a technique that I learned at retreat, coloring with stencils. It's super easy all you do is use a stencil with a tight pattern and the with a blending brush color through the stencil. I did the same thing with the sentiment by embossing and fussy cutting.
Your next stop is the talented Diane. Don't forgot to comment on all the blogs for a chance to win. You have until 10pm eastern June 23rd. winner will be announced on the Sweet 'n Sassy blog.
