Technique Junkies Stamps New Release Celebration Hop

Hello and welcome to the Technique Junkies Stamps April release celebration!
You should have arrived here via Beth's blog if not I have a complete list at the bottom of this post where you can follow along.

We have released 14 new stamps and these will be 15% off from now through the 8th (no code needed) If you use my code TJ10Ceal you will get 10% off your entire order so that mean an additional 10% off of the new releases through the 8th.

For both of my cards I used the Poppies and Roses Background stamp. I love this gorgeous background.
For the first card I started with a white top folding card base and simply stamped the background with Copic friendly ink and colored it using Copic markers. I added the Simply Amazing sentiment stamped with embossing ink and embossed with black embossing powder. To finish the card i added a hand drawn border around the colored image.

For the second card below, I also started with a white top folding card base. I stamped the Poppies and Roses Background with embossing ink and then embossed it using gold embossing powder. Next using the Life Changing Blender Brushes I blended some distress inks in Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed and Carved Pumpkin. I adhere the focal panel onto a black panel and then onto the card base. To finish the card I added a word die by Birch Press Design.

Your next stop is Giovana and there is a list below of all the participating blogs for lots of inspiration.

  5. Two beautiful cards but love the blending one especially!! I think it is because of the spring color combo you chose! Such pretty bright and cheery cards, both!
