Happy Sunday!
Today I am sharing a card that I created for a new facebook challenge Art Nudge. I am not sure if this is a group you can join off hand, but if you're a crafter and want to join you can request it is needed. How it works is each week Jeanne will post a new inspiration picture and you create any type of art inspired by it. It doesn't have to be a card.
To create my card I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel. I stamped the daisies from the Daisy Bouquet set by Simon Says Stamp using Fadeout ink by Ink on 3. I colored the daisies using Copic markers in Y0000, Y13, and Y18. I used C1 as a shadow and YG25 for the stems. I also used colored pencils as well but forgot to write down the colors.
For the background I used B95 and colored the entire background. I used a technique that I learned from Kathy Racoosin to create the texture for the background, a piece of terry cloth and the copic blender refill. Put some blender solution on the terry cloth and dab (leaving it down just a second) over your background. This gives it a really cool effect
What was really cool is when I went turned the panel over to add glue to it, it was so unique that it made me want to create another just for the opposite side. I added a picture f it below, isn't it cool?
Supplies are pictured below along with affiliate links with no additional cost to you but a small commission for me. thank you for your support!
Your card is so gorgeous and I love your take on the inspiration photo.
