Sweater Weather

I am up on the My Sweet Petunia blog today with these two cards. Yesterday was the first day of fall and it's officially sweater weather so I thought it would be appropriate to use the Sweater Weather Turnabout by Concord & 9th.

The Turnabout stamps were created specifically for the Misti. There are two different sizes, regular for the Original Misti and the small for the Mini Misti.

To create both of my cards I used the Original Misti. I placed the alignment sheet for the Sweater Weather Turnabout  inside the misti and then placed the stamp on top to line it up, no more drawing the X on the back of your stamp, all Turnabouts come with alignment sheets now. I also used the Turnabout Jig to hold my paper.
For the first card I stamped all four turns in Chocolate Truffle Amalgam ink by Gina K and then colored the images using alcohol markers. I used the coordinating dies for the greeting die cut and the elements on the card.

The second card was created the same way as the first but I used Sweet Corn, Soft Stone, Faded Brick and Tranquil Teal inks by Gina K Designs to stamp the turns in four different colors. I used the ruler from the Creative Corners to line up the greeting and then cut it out with the coordinating dies
