MISTI and Visible Image Bloghop & Giveaway


Hello and welcome to the My Sweet Petunia and Visible Image collaboration hop. 
You are in for some amazing eye candy because these stamps are gorgeous and so versatile. 


You should have arrived here via Becca's blog but if not no worries I have a complete list of participating blogs at the bottom of this post so you won't miss a thing!

Now the deets on my card
I created this card by starting with a piece of Fabriano 140lb cold press watercolor paper and some Ken Oliver Caribbean Brights Color Bursts.  I sprinkled the color bursts on my craft sheet and then spritzed with water and laid my watercolor paper down and picked up some color, I kept doing this with different colors until I achieved the look I was happy with, this took several attempts mind you. 
After I created my background I placed it in the Original MISTI because when you use watercolor paper its hard to get a crisp image because of the texture. 




I used the Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and I only had to over stamp it once to get a crisp image, but had I not had the MISTI then this card would have made it to the trash very easily. After stamping the image and greeting I ran it through the Big Shot using a stitched die. 
To finish the card I attached it to a black card base and added some gold to the unicorn's horn, after all it possible for a unicorn to have a golden horn right?
