Purple

One more late night card, this one is for the Challenge at Less is More of Purples

To make my card I started with a white top folding note card and some panels cut down with a postage stamp die. I used the Mini Misti because this is a layering stamp and I never attempt them with out the MISTI. I stamp set I used is the Color Layering Poppy by Hero Arts. I love all their layering stamps they make things look so realistic, other than the fact are there purple poppies?
After I stamped all the images I thought it needed just a little something else so I used a Tim Holtz stencil and lightly stenciled the center of the focal panel.
To finish the card I added the greeting and another postage stamp die cut panel in the same ink I used to stencil.

  2. The poppies are so beautiful and since I have that set I might have to use it with different colors then the normal poppy ones. It looks awesome.

  4. This looks awesome. I always use my MISTI to stamp, especially with layering sets, too. You've stamped the layers beautifully and I love it in in purple. The light stencilling behind really gives it great depth. I have this set and have yet to ink it up. Thank you inspiring and for joining us at Less is More.

  5. Such a pretty card Ceal and that combo of purples with teal is one of my favourites. The tones of purple you used on the flower are gorgeous - creating such a rich look. Thanks so much for sharing this with us at Less is More xx
