It's a Birthday Celebration at AAA Cards!

It's time for another challenge at AAA Cards and it's our 3rd birthday celebration so there are prizes.

We are having a treasure hunt, so sure to stop by everyone's blog and look for a number until you find all 6, total them up and email your total to aaacardchallenge@gmail.com

here is the bloghop order in case you get lost

To make my birthday card I started with a top folding card base and a birthday set by Concord & 9th, Eat Cake & Celebrate along with the Eat Cake and Celebrate Dies. I stamped the image with Memento ink and colored it with Copic Markers BG23, BG13, E23 and E25. The grunge in the background is also by Concord & 9th, from the set Hello Lovely. A one layer card with a big statement to wish AAA Cards a Happy 3rd birthday!

For a chance to win a £10 voucher to the Digi Stamp Boutique, answer the following question. What is your favorite occasion to make handmade cards for? I love making Christmas cards, but my favorite occasion is birthdays. Birthday cards give you so many design options depending on who you are sending it to, masculine, floral, humorous, punny, cartoony and the list goes on.

A huge thank you to all of our sponsors for donating the prizes.

FYI on Ways to Win

Happy Hopping!

  3. A great looking card, think I need those stamps and dies! My favourite occasion to make cards for are kids' birthdays as you can have so much fun with their cards, although I rather like making them for older friends too, the ones with a good sense of humour who can stand some ribbing about their age. Thanks for the chance at winning (c:

  19. Ceal, what a great colour combo - teal and chocolate! My answer to your question: lately I make more Thank you cards and encouraging cards. Card makers' society is very supportive and there are always many situations I am grateful for to my crafty friends. And with many girls I became really close, and encouragement is always needed ;) - Sweet Kobylkin

  25. Super cute CAS card, Ceal! By far I make birthday cards the most and they are fun to make. But I think my favorite is whatever card I can personalize to the recipient. It could be a birthday card or it could be a card for any reason. I make a lot of generic birthday cards or thinking of you cards but making it special and personal makes all the difference. Thanks for the lovely hop and the chance to win! Happy Memorial Day.

  28. My sweet tooth is tingling in seeing your delicious chocolate-iced cake here, Ceal! Thank you for the reminder that I have this set; it needs some play time! My favourite cards to make: the monthly ones for my niece and nephew, as well as the ones I make for them and their classmates for special occasions (Halloween and Valentine's Day, in particular). Next, Christmas, followed by birthday and 'just because'. Thank you for the inspiration and smiles today!

My favourite occasion for making cards is birthdays too as I love being able to personalise cards for the individual I am sending to, my family like it too and often put in their orders for a personalised card that often only has meaning to them and the recipient which makes it even more special and fun too guessing the meaning behind their choice.

  52. Fabulous birthday card Ceal. The stamp sets you used are so apt: the cake with the 3 candles has been superbly coloured and it looks so yummy. Really love the splatter stamp in the background. Congrats on the 3rd birthday at AAA cards and thanks for your inspiration. I'm a birthday card girl too at heart because, being as rubber stamping is my vice, there are so many different stamp images to use that can be tailored to the recipient. And, yes, my real weakness for sentiments on those cards are the pun and humerous ones, but I never seem to blog about those xx
