My card share today is using a new Christmas set from Stampin Up "The Newborn King". I have to admit when I first saw this set I liked it but didn't think I needed until I saw a card my friend and upline Lydia made with it using watercoloring and I fell in love with it. So that is where my inspiration came from.
To make my card I stamped the image in Versamark ink on Time Holtz Watercolor paper, then embossed it with white embossing powder. Next I used Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise and Old Olive re inkers and you guessed it Water. I totally saturated my paper with water and just touched the brush in a dab of ink and then to my paper. After my front was dry I stamped the greeting in black ink
I am entering this one in the CASology challenge
