Mount Up

Good Palm Sunday morning!
It's time for another Stampin Sisters In Christ challenges and this is a sad day for me as my term is up and this is my last post as a member of the design team. I have made some wonderful friends and will miss them greatly. I will still continue to play along with the challenges as we will always be sisters in Christ!
This week Kristine is our challenge hostess and she chose this verse:

"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
Isaiah 40:31

I love that verse, It is so good to know if we wait upon the Lord we will renew our strength. The hard part in this verse is WAIT, so many times I want things in my time and do not wait to see what the Lord has for me and by doing that I miss out on a blessing He had for me.

Kristine's challenge is "Mount Up" parts of your image in layers. (Paper Tole technique).
I love this technique as it adds so much definition to your image.
My card uses the sketch from this weeks challenge at Our Creative Corner. The stamp is Flourishes: Signs Of Spring

  10. Ceal I love the soft yellows and the image you selected, it is a beautiful card. Your work looks better and better each week, a sign of a great stamper that it just keeps on improving and getting more lovely. I have so enjoyed your thoughts on the scripture verses, especially those that you selected and want to see your card or creation every Sunday!!
