It's time for another challenge at Addicted to CAS, our sponsor for this challenge is Create A Smile Stamps with a £15 to their store.
This challenge fell at the right time as we are headed to our nephews high school graduation and I needed a card.
To make my card, I started with a white top folding card base and a scrap of navy carsick I used for the cap. For the greeting, I used the Double Cut Numbers and Alpha from Concord and 9th. His high scooter colors are navy, red and silver so I used some silver glitter paper from The Ton which is adhesive backed for the inside of the numbers and letters. I love this glitter paper.
For the cap I punched out two circles of glitter paper and sandwiched a tassel in-between that I made from silver thread.
Love this sparkly card, Ceal! Such a lovely CAS design and your DIY tassel is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to use a scrap to make a mortarboard, Ceal. I'll have to keep that in mind for future graduation cards. I love the glitter paper inside the letters and numbers. I may have to check out that set.
