Y'all! the leaves are already starting to turn here, it's hard to believe right? We had a drought back in the summer and I guess that is making the leaves turn early. They are not turning a lot but I think the peak will be much earlier this year.
To make my card I started with a white top folding A2 base and a scrap piece of watercolor paper. I stamped the leaf image on the watercolor paper with archival ink and colored it with Zig watercolor pens. I chose to color it in "indian summer" colors since our leaves are beginning to turn and it's still warm. For the background behind the leaf I blended some Twisted Citron and Squeezed Lemonade and stamped some leaves in Mowed Lawn. To finish the card, I added the greeting and some Wink of Stella (it doesn't show up in the photo)
