In case you didn't know I live in Western North Carolina where we had catastrophic flooding from hurricane Helene. We didn't get any damage to our home but our creek did come out of its banks. Our home site up a little higher which was a good thing. We are WNC Strong but still need your prayers, this is coming into a busy season for us as the leaves are changing but there will be a lot of lost revenue. Most of the hotels here were flooded and will not be able to restore in time for the season. There are so many people who still have no home, have lost loved ones, can't find loved ones, no water, no power, co cell or internet service.
We were fortunate to have only lost power and water for a little bit. we still have no internet and spotty cell service. The hardest things was not being able to contact family because for days we had nothing, we would drive around trying to find service to contact family to let them know we were okay.
There is still lots of work to be done to restore and rebuild and that will take years. In case you are wanting to help those who lost their homes rebuild you can donate by going to
