Birthday Gator

I am back with another card for our current #staycrafty challenge over on A Blog Named Hero. Our challenge is to use embossing powder n your project. 

Heat embossing was definitely my gateway drug into cardmaking and I still love to watch the magic happen even today.

To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and meadow panel. 

Using embossing ink, I stamped the zig zag pattern using a bold prints background and then embossed it with white embossing powder on the meadow panel and then cut it down to 4".

I stamped the gator, colored him and then cut hi out with the coordinating die. 

To finish the card, I added a sentiment from a different set.
