Keeping it Simple

I'm up on the Sweet 'n Sassy blog today sharing this card. 

It's a new year and everyone has their resolutions right? Well I don't really do resolutions but I do try to set goals and try my best to make them. 

This year I am wanting to be more like Jesus in everything even in my crafting. 

So my goal this year is to make and send out more encouragement cards and cards to let the recipient know that they are loved and being prayed for. To make this card I used the Blooming Anemones paired with the Heartfelt Thoughts sentiment set. 

It seems that the years are hard these days so I am wanting to brighten someone's day. 

I am keeping this one simple because not only is that my card making style but when you are going through hard times like a death or whatever the circumstance I just have always thought that simple is better, less is more.  

 I started with a white top folding A2 Card bae and a white panel. I stamped the floral image from the Blooming Anemones set, colored it and used a stencil to create a background.

I used a sentiment from the Heartfelt Thoughts set.
