I am up on the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps company blog with these two cards.
For the first card I started with a white top folding card base, a kraft panel the same size as the base, a white panel and a red panel. I randomly stamped the to go cups and hearts to create a background. I love creating backgrounds from images in the stamp set. I colored them using Copic markers and the adhered it to the red panel and that panel to the kraft panel and then to the card base. The greeting is from the same set.
For the second card below, I started with a white top folding card base and a panel of white distress heavystock. I ink smooshed Abandoned Coral, Worn Lipstick and Kitsch Flamingo on a craft mat spritzed with water and smooshed the heavystock panel into the ink and repeated until I was satisfied with the result.
Next I heat embossed the hearts using Kitsch Flamingo embossing glaze. I stamped the coffee cups on a seperate piece of white paper, colored them using Copic markers and the cut them out with the coordinating dies and added them to the inked panel. To finish the card I added the sentiment from that same set.
The second card is also for this weeks CAS challenge at Splitcoaststampers of ICE to use those letter when making your project.
