It's time for a new challenge at Beyond The Blue challenge blog. We are a group of friends who follow Lydia aka Understand Blue and love her classes and retreats. This week we are playing with distress oxides and making wrinkle free backgrounds. You can fine the video tutorial HERE.
To create my card I started with a top folding white card base, a sprout panel and a distress watercolor paper panel. I created a cloudy background using a stencil and Peacock Feathers distress ink. I created a background using the distress watercolor paper and distress oxides in Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, and Twisted Citron. As you can see instead of using the background I created for a background I die cut balloons out of it using a die by Birch Press. To finish the card I added the happy by Taylored Expressions and the Birthday by Concord & 9th.
