Now for the deets on my cards
My first card uses the Early Tulip Bouquet, to create the card I started with a a base and panel of bristol card stock. I placed the image in the MISTI and stamped it using PFS Black Hybrid ink. I colored it using some Elegant Writer pens. Lydia had used tis technique on a facebook live so I decided to try it and I have to say I love the way it turned out. The sentiment is from the Face The Sun set.
My second card uses Sweet Dear Friend which is an older set by Picket Fence Studios but it's so sweet. To create this card I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel. I stamped the Live Happy in the center of the panel using the grid alignment guide that you can download from the MSP site of you can also find it at Simon Says Stamp. The girls in this set are small and I don't about you but it's hard to get them lined up after they are colored to cut them out with the coordinating die so here is a hack for that. Before you stamp the girls, run your die cut through your machine and then place the negative in the MISTI, line the stamps up in the negative space and then pick them up with the door. Next place the positive pieces back in the negative spaces and then ink them up and stamp them and they will be perfectly lined up.
Another hack that I use to make sure my panels are lined up on my cards is using the Creative Corners. I place one at the bottom left corner of the Original MISTI and then I place my base in that corner. I take a second Creative Corner and place it at the top right on my cardbase where I want my panel to be this allows you to place your panel perfectly in between the two corners and therefore making it straight. I used to have to stand up and look over my card to be able to get it straight and sometimes it still was crooked, if you use your corners to help you line it up it will be straight every time.
I also have a little surprise giveaway also on my instagram account if you follow me there, if not I would love for you to. My handle there is @cealp
